FL Appoints Youth and Diversity to its Partnership

FL is happy to appoint youth and diversity to its partnership with the nomination of Matthew Chaussé, Sara Halickman, Thomas Kontogianis and Jean-Sébastien Ouellet, effective immediately. 

Matthew Chaussé, CPA, CADetermination, ambition and commitment moved Matthew up the audit ladder at FL Fuller Landau. He is also known for his active involvement in several Montreal non-profit community organizations and committees. Matthew even started his own foundation to help fill a void he saw. Matthew’s efforts were recognized with the CPA Volunteer Award for community involvement by the OCPAQ. Matthew is a great example for young professionals who want to make their world a better place. 

Sara Halickman, CPA, CASince she started at FL, Sara has earned a reputation as a problem solver who will go the extra mile to help her clients. Sara is currently leading our Estates and Trusts niche, in conjunction with Tax partner Peter Joseph Moraitis. She is also past chair of Leading Edge Alliance’s Young Professionals group. Outside of work, she is passionate about educating others in financial literacy, specifically women, and is involved in several Montreal-area community organizations.

Thomas Kontogianis, CPA, CAStemming from a successful family business, Thomas learned the ropes of entrepreneurship at a young age. In addition to managing a diverse client base and dealing with a wide array of businesses, Thomas will now lead the Real Estate niche at FL, creating a multi-disciplinarian team whose focus is on the real estate industry to better serve our clients and younger colleagues. 

Jean-Sébastien Ouellet, CPA, CAWell-known amongst his peers for his solid technical acumen from both audit and tax perspectives, Jean-Sébastien developed a strong expertise in a variety of sectors over the years. He will create and lead the Tech niche at FL. Jean-Sébastien is also currently involved in a pro-bono position on one of OCPAQ’s boards. 

We strongly believe in a healthy blend of youth, diversity and experience, and are proud to place these four partners under-forty to our roster. They, added to our existing core of young partners, represent the future of our firm, and our profession.
