BREAKFAST DISCUSSION ON THE FAMILY BUSINESS
AND THE FAMILY OFFICE
When: Thursday, October 13, 2011
7:30 am to 8:30 am
Where: Fuller Landau
Place du Canada 1010 de la Gauchetiere Ouest, Suite 200 H3B 2S1
Jim works with families to develop and build what is commonly known as the Family Office. Knowing the professionals needed to manage family affairs, define and sustain values, and create legacies is key to preserving accumulated wealth for future generations.
Mike successfully transferred Fuller Landau from one generation of partners to the next. He uses his own experience in this area to assist family businesses with the tangible such as tax and estate planning, to the not so tangible family dynamics and intergenerational transition of wealth and power within these businesses.
As the baby boomer generation retires, we are facing the largest transfer of wealth in the history of modern business. Knowing how to successfully transfer both a business and personal wealth requires hard and soft skills.
Join Michael Newton, managing partner at Fuller Landau, and Jim Kellett, Portfolio Manager at MacDougall, MacDougall, and Mactier for a breakfast discussion on the Family Business and the Family Office.
